How our service works
This site does not build extensions. It is a small, free service that helps homeowners in England, Scotland and Wales find a firm that makes and installs modular, prefab and SIPs extensions, and this page explains how.

We look for a modular extension specialist
We search for a firm that builds the type of extension you chose and works in your area.
We name them to you
Then it is your call. Say yes and we send them your enquiry; say no and it stops there.
Survey and price
They look at the house and the access and price the job. If you like the price, your contract is directly with that firm.
Who we are not
This site is not linked to any extension maker that uses a similar name. Designing, making, delivering and installing are all done by the firm you choose, never by us.
What we will never do
- Take money from you, or ask for a deposit.
- Send your enquiry anywhere before you say yes, or to any firm other than the one we told you about.
- Quote a price for your job. Only the firm can do that, after seeing the site.
- Add you to a mailing list.
How the service is paid for
The firm pays us a fee for each introduction. You pay nothing to us, whether or not you go ahead.
About our prices and guides
The prices on this site are typical ranges drawn from published UK builder and contractor price guides, and the planning and building rules come from GOV.UK, the Scottish Government and council fee schedules. Each page says where its figures come from. They help you set a budget; they are not a quote, and our planning notes are general guidance, not legal advice.
